Though some progress has been made on power restoration. Approximately 1700 ConEd customers in the Village are still without power (down from 3700.) We have been told that the system restoration time is by Sunday. Crews are currently working in the Village, so we hope power will be restored long before Sunday.
Verizon and Altice are also working in the Village. Internet connectivity is very limited. As a result the cellular network is overburdened resulting in spotty phone service.
Pool complex is open for swimming ($5 for walk-ins), device charging and cooling (no cost.)
Library and Village Hall are open.
Sewer plant and water pump stations continue to work on generators.
Many stop lights are out. PLEASE drive with caution. Intersections without traffic lights should be treated as 4-way stop.
